Education
Ray graduated from the world famous “Watpo Thai Traditional Massage School” in Bangkok Thailand, and continued her education with The Union of Thai Traditional Medicine Society. The Union’s program is a full rehabilitory manual therapy program for medical professionals, with a scope of practice geared towards goal oriented massage and health care. Each therapist has to go undergo competency based testing that insures the quality of the education.
She moved to Florida in 2013, where she attended the Ridge Career Center in Winter Haven. There she was awarded ‘Outstanding Student’ and graduated top of her class.
Career
In Florida, Ray has been working within the State’s massage therapy scope of practice. Ray has logged over 3,000+ hours of Thai Massage, Thai Medical Massage, Massage Therapy program and Medical Massage therapy program, exceeding the Florida State standard of 500 hours.
She practiced medical massage at a Chiropractic clinic, specializing in automobile accident and workman’s compensation patients.
She is also certified in Fascial Release, Oncology, Neuromuscular technique, Trigger Point therapy, Prenatal massage, Lymphatic drainage, cupping, and hot stones. She opened the Lakeland Medical Massage clinic to create a place where people can achieve their physical goals and improve their quality of life, through the aid of body work.
